July 28-Saligao News   ---Hill Cutting: Minister Monsorrate corned.   Dr. Wilfred de Souza urged the minister to save the surrounding areas at Salmona spring in Saligao. Expressing dismay over the conversion of land near the Salmona spring, Dr. de Souza, said some months ago, the Chief Minister himself had visited the area following public protest and changed the land-use to protect the environment. Stating that the chief planner had granted permission for conversion of land use ,Dr. de Souza, urged the minister to act immediately on this case..     --- The State Government has decided to make wearing of helmets for two wheelers and seat-belts seat belts for four-wheelers (cars)compulsory from August 16 and to fine the violators accordingly.( Courtesy-The Navhind Times).   --Dr. Wilfred de Souza called on the government on Tuesday to provide proper infrastructure to the industrial houses to attract more industries and give them incentives( Courtesy –The Navhind Times).   Fr.
