Dear friends
I see lots of people waiting in que to pay their telephone bills and each time I am
there they grumble and grumble but none want to listen to what I have to say. Every
time they come to pay their telephone bills I have been telling them that the same can
be paid through the bank of India without you being present there. Just fill the form
and do the formalities and the bill will be sent to the bank straight away and a copy
to you and the bank sends you the receipts. But instead the people keep asking
questions. 1. what if I do not have a bank balance ? (bill is just 700 to 900 rupees)
what if the bank does not pay ? (typical Goan question) what if the telephone
department sends a big bill ? and as a result each time the bill is received a heavy
que, lots of grumbling. and cursing each alternate month. Quo vadis Domino. Can any
one with better brain solve this problem ?
