Dear Ricky,
I read your email postings everyday and many are a pleasant reminder of our dear Saligao.
I was in Goa recently and did find that activities at the Institute were at a standstill except that a group of ladies were trying to revive it by way of the library project. My congratulations to them. Also many thanks to Mrs.Simoes and the late Mr. Frank Simoes who I had the pleasure to meet many years ago when I worked at the Fort Aguada.
Many years ago (almost 30), when my Dad, Salus (Sequeira) was secretary, he had a contact in Bombay who sent loads of second hand books to the Institute free of cost. I wish you can see my dad and try to find out if this contact still exists. I hope this will be of help.

Dear Saligaokar's !
Its nice to see this development at the Saligao
Institute. We should encourage all natives to donate
books or money to enhence this Kids corner.
Funds could be utilsed to buy computers for Kids and
have educational activities uploaded.
