Firstly, obtaining a Computer was never a problem for Alfred. I always
kept reminding to purchase one for the home as we used to Chat online when
he was offshore at work. He kept telling me since he used to work on a two
Week on and Two Week Off shift duty pattern he wanted to wait for a while
till his young kids grew up a little, lest they vandalize the expensive
equipment in his absence which they would innocently think of as a toy.
Secondly, I wouldnt quite agree the Doctor. And I will tell you why. I
knew Alfred well enough and he was certainly not a guy to even normally
fold up under any sort or amount of pressure or stress.
I will post an Article about him in only a few days time. I regret not
having posted it on the Saligaonet earlier when it all actually
happened. this goes back to 11th August 2003. I am not really sure if it
appeared in any of the local newspapers in Goa.
Alfred was a Radio Officer by Profession and Management Staff with ONGC
and it is because he knew how to keep his cool, this is what won him Laurels.
Well, I mailed the said article to a few friends then, privately, I thank
God I had saved it in my Computer System. Please read on later.
