We got this sad news the next morning from Marshal Fernandes who was a close
friend of Albino. Marshal had been giving us news of Albino since his
illness started a few months ago. God has been merciful & released him from
his suffering.
We convey our heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family of Albino. May
his soul rest in peace.

The Saligao Youth Club (now defunct) was founded by him together with the
late Euleterio >D'Souza which organised the All Goa Gold Cup football
tournament in the early seventies. (Soon >after the famous Bandodkar Gold
trophy).
Yes Daniel, I remember this too but more than that I remember Albino always
on the move on his motorbike.
