Dear Administrator,
Ordinarily I would not ask you to print this
message.
However, last year when I visited Saligao I had the
privilege of celebrating the important commemoration
of the day when the Statue of our Mae De Deus was
brought to Saligao. The date being 26th November.
It is a privilege which the saligaocars who live in
Sonarbhatt are allowed. Because I was on a "MARIAN
PILGRIMAGE OF THANKSGIVING" I was allowed to
celebrate the feast.
The contents of the Letter of thanks which I wrote
will amply justify my gratitude to the people who permitted
me to celebrate the same, but more than that it was
the transparency and accountability of the funds provided
to the organisers that made my contribution
worthwhile.
I am writing to you in the hope that other
Saligaocars who visit Saligao in November can avail of this
privilege
by contacting the organisers in Saligao. They have
indicated to me that they would be happy to find sponsors for
the commemoration from visiting Saligaocars.
It is in this spirit that I request that
the attached letter be published for the information of the visiting
Saligaocars.
