On the other hand, the consumer forum has also put in a lot of persistent work. So there's no point in being defeatist and saying nothing has happened. Overall, I agree though that we need more citizens' participation in public life. Many are trying... we could support them. --FN

Why? i got my phone disconnected and took reliance phone. If reliance does not give me enough service I immediately send a email to the top person in the rank and next day people come to the door to inquire about the complaint and phone calls one after the other.Do not be fooled because underground cables are going to be laid .It is election stunt. it may be the cables are just dug this year and the same cables may again be dug after five years.I received representation from BSNL with an offer for broad band which I took. Many times the department phones me to find out about the service of my internet. see the change. albert
