During the last two months I did a couple of short visits to Saligao. My instant observation was the state of bad roads, poor power supply, erratic public tgranport system, and the public water supply system that still needs improvement. I am surprised these pressing issues do not get the desired coverage in the local press, and i am even more surprised that i don't see any new journos rising up in Saligao from among the younger generation. What could be the reason Fred??
May be you should conduct a talent search during this Diwali vacations and scout for some new blood that could be infused into the journalism fraternity in Saligao. If there is anything i can do in this matter, i am willing to do so, with prior intimation.
