And if it is criticism you fear, .. have no fear, it will get you fired up
to write more, write better & you will benefit & get enjoyment out of it too
& a few good laughs. & we all will broaden our minds too.
Fear God, but not man...nor wo-man. A good example is Albert,- he writes
despite the bric-bats (sometimes warranted but most often, not) & is still
surviving on this Net because he does stick to facts & not everybody likes
to hear the truth, for some it sticks in the craw. That's the way it is -
human nature. By the way, where is he nowadays? Enjoying the cool season in
Goa I guess though I did get personal mail some time ago.
Saligao Netters seem quiet, we last saw a lot of mail on this Net about a
year ago on the demise of Clayton Vaz. - May his soul rest in peace!. then
saw a few pieces of what is going on in Saligao & the Institute - otherwise
Saligaonet is very, very quiet due to the silent Netters.
Hey Rico, I liked the article on Goanews - written by Tony D'Sa - smart! He
got computer savvy on his own steam - here I am in 21st century still
struggling....grrh! though it's not all my fault of course - some of my
messages insist on not reaching destination & keep floating around in
cyberspace.

Patsy, I agree with you on one point, we still need to master these
inanimate objects called computers & all the jargon that goes with them. So
do take care & type all you want on a word document & then copy & paste (I'm
glad to say I've become expert on "cut & paste") on your Saligaonet screen,
lest you see all your work blipped off the screen with one slight touch of a
key (I'm still trying to fathom which key it is/was/will be). & unlike Word,
one cant "undo", double "undo" or "do". I've learnt my lesson the hard way.
Guess you got your Kevin to help you out, I have no one here - boohoo! My
proxy godchildren (only 10 years old) laugh at my antics as they seem to
have mastered all the machines (including video cameras & digital
cameras/mobiles or whatever) from age 6. I'm lagging far behind despite my
respectable age, grey hair, intact wisdom teeth etc.

Ooh la la! Is that what I do??? Perhaps it is.....noticed that nobody has
given me a chance to send "flowing" replies since long.....
She is a great model for anyone who wants to develop one's
own "authentic voice" as a writer. She has spontaneity. She has
style. She has a 'writing-voice' that is as authentic as a
personal phone call.
Grrh! I think this is taking it too far M&M. I just write (type) like I
talk ...& given that I've been told I can talk far & fast at 120 w.p.m....
(quoted 2 relatives & a couple of friends) ..well!!!
So, just go for it...let it all hang out. Strut you stuff. We
can only be enriched and educated.

rest. But if there is injustice, of course you can count on my entering -
guns ablaze - ha ha! Like most people, I dont like injustice & prefer to
stick to facts.
