Hi Daniel and Fred, Well said - both of you. Thank you, and I am 100% in agreement with everything both of you have said. (Could you ask for a more ardent follower?!!)
At this point, I would also like to take the opportunity to sincerely apologize to you, Rico, for any unnecessary aggravation I may have caused with my "retaliatory posting" on the Laptop issue. ( I had intended to apologize anyway, so these postings did not prompt me to do what I wanted to do.) Fortunately or unfortunately, my sense of justice and fairness (sometimes too strong for my own good!) will not permit me to sit quiet when I detect direct or indirect accusations or insinuations against someone I happen to know very well. Anyway, I've had my say (to my satisfaction) on the topic, and I want you to rest assured that the Laptop issue has been brought to it's final close as far as I am concerned. As far as any more postings from me go, I will not be taking this issue any further. The role of moderator couldn't be an easy one - some times more than others, I guess! But hey, Rico, think of how boring your life would be without the occasional "fireworks" to moderate. I guess your job is to step in before that thunderous and lethal "Gonnal" goes off, destroying all humankind on the Saligaonet!! As Daniel says, I guess even very heated debates have a way of ironing themselves out, ultimately. Moderation, however, is undoubtedly necessary. As always, you do a great job, Rico. Thanks, Patsy To all you good people out there who personally communicated your kind and encouraging sentiments, thank you. --- "Daniel F. de Souza" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Dear Fred, > > I respect your decision as the Moderator to place > the saligaonet under 'emergency moderation'.
