When I try to find news items related to Goa's villages, I'm surprised
to see how few there are. Most "reports" are in fact just press notes
relating to sporting events in the village. It's surprising how little
the village-events get covered in our media.

In this context, would you know of any young people around Saligao who
would like to be mentored in journalism? I think we could get them
started, to write about their villages, and more.

If you know someone, even enthusiastic students, just as them to get
in touch with me. FN
