Hmm!
Eric, ...your Dad sang with many others at the mandos, choir etc. etc. etc. But
he & Laura, & sometimes Anton (Laura's brother) sang at the services on Passion
Sundays .. a beautiful blend of powerful voices ("firsts & seconds" in layman's
terminology as I dont know musical notes) .
Helene, ...the question about the material used for the restoration of the
Church was brought up at the meeting & it was assured that asbestos would not &
could not be used because it has been banned years ago for reasons everybody
knows. Check this out with Austin D'Gama if you meet him.
Rico,..you are right, Dean is the best person to contact as he will be
involved in this project & I'm sure he is not going to allow the use of
asbestos.
As I mentioned in my earlier mails, all Saliganvkars are supposed to clarify
their doubts & ask questions about the project & obtain satisfactory answers
from the committee & those involved.
By the way, thought there was going to be a special site created so that this
topic of restoration of the Church doesnt interefere with the more serious
reading material of others.
I intend enjoying my well-deserved weekend after a heavy work week.
Ta ra

Hi,Thanks guys for the warm welcome. It was Theresa Soares, who partnered with
Dad, no doubt Laura was also a good singer. Yes, Dad was truly a great singer,
He supported his family, mother and 3 sisters with this very talent, after he
lost his father at age ten. Eric. > Date: Thu, 6 Mar 2008 15:52:36 -0500>
