After following this up it is not a generic problem with Servers Alive - it is a generic problem with UK Mobile Operators - they've jumped on the SMS bandwagon to make lots of cash. You now have to pay for a TAP compliant system with Vodaphone UK. I got it to send a test message once - and only once ever. Then it stopped working completely. I'm using Verizon, and I entered all the configuration info in (according to the current TAP providers information page on the Woodstone site), however I'm not getting the page. I suspect either the modem isn't dialing or Verizon is rejecting me, but I see nothing in the Server's Alive log (I have it set to the highest level).
