The error (67) is returned by the OS to Servers Alive:
The network name cannot be found. ERROR_BAD_NET_NAME
 
 
A "down" doesn't mean that the service is down, but that it's    
    DOWN
        or
    can't be checked for due to a connection/authentication/... problem.
 
 
 
Are you also doing other service checks towards this same system?  And do they work?  If they work check if you used on both checks the same hostname.

I'm getting an error 67 from a service check - what does it mean? The check is flagged as being down which is incorrect. The username/password is correct as from with SAlive I can browse the services and I select the desired one. Am using SAlive 3.3 on a WIN 2K machine. See log file below;
