Microsoft version should work better then Oracle version.

Could you test it towards something else too? (just to see if it's related
to the ODBC entry/driver or not)

Am indeed using the MS Oracle ODBC driver... should I use the Oracle
one? (it's giving me trouble and I'd have to re-install it, that's why I
ask)

I *do* check multiple oracle DBs with SA and it's working just fine...

Are you using the Microsoft Oracle ODBC driver or the Oracle Oracle
ODBC
driver?

Can you test it towards a different type of DB to see if that works for
you?

Subject: [SA-list] Statistical Logging to Oracle

Hi there, looked through the archive, didn't see this error, so here
goes...

Am setting up SA 4.0.1336 to do Statistical logging to an oracle DB;
problem is, when I go to create the table, I get "Run-Time error
'430':
class does not support automation or does not support expected
interface"...

there is not much info about creating the DSN, but in the nt4 control
pannel, I can "test connect" that DSN sucessfully...

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
