Yes you're missing a feature...or better SA is missing a feature....
In a next release (4.1?) we will extend the global replace feature to become
a global replace/add feature.  This will enable to add/replace "stuff" once
of all entries/a selection/a group.  Still it will be added/replaced per
entry.
In a next stage will have some more options on the group level like group
alerts.

Hello,
I was just wondering if there was a way to setup a few things at a group
level.  For example I have a lot of targets that I want to monitor.  They
have specific roles within our company.  I have grouped them according to
role.  I would like to be able to set the alerts and the schedule at a group
level rather than have to modify each individual item.  Am I missing
something?
