And now magically after changing it back to restart service it works.  If you recall originally it would not restart the service.  So I developed the external program, which would not run.  Today it made like David Copperfield and fixed itself.  Thanks Dirk.

No error in the log.   I do not know if it should show executing the command but it does not.

I have a couple issues.  I am monitoring a vnc service on our server.  Occasionally it crashes and I am locked out so I monitor it to be sure it gets restarted.  The check works fine but when it is down it does not seem to restart the service like it should.  I also created an external program that restarts the service.   I use it when Salive fails.  However it does not work from Salive either.  Any ideas?  Where can I find a log that might tell me what is going on?
