All depends on the "condition"/"rule" you have set...

But when I look at Task Manager, the process is running there. So there
should be 1 instance running. I will try to change to 0 but doing so will
not check for anything. Am I right?

The only reason I can see to get the logging you get is that the processes
check as suck is possible (SA did get the list of processes) BUT are not
within the "rule" set.
Example:

alert when less then 1 instance is running
=> fails when there are 0 running

Hi,

I have been facing this problem for days. In the server where SA is
installed, it always says process is down when it check its own processes. I

have checked that the process is up and running. One funny thing is that
when it check the first cycle, it says the process is down. Then when it
check on the second cycle, it says the process is up. So, this goes on and
on, one up and one down.

I then tried to create a new event checking the process. When I click on the

button to show the process that it is running, the window is blank. I have
tried using both IP and NetBios name and the result is the same.

Anyone has any ideas about this?

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Chong Wei Yu
