I am actually doing this right now...running SA on a second box, checking the service, on my Primary Monitoring Computer...I think that it says in the licensing agreement for the registered version, that you are able to install the program on a second "personal" machine, to do monitoring from home.
But in the case that I am not recalling that accurately, I do recall asking Dirk about the Free trial version of SA...the only limitation is that it will only monitor 10 alerts...which means that you could use that, installed on a second box, to monitor the primary SA installation.
