If from an SA point of view they are sent correctly then
the problem is elsewere.
As for the ActiveX error, WHAT EXACT MESSAGE? And did
you try it without the AV?
Dirk.
There is AV running (CA Innoculate e-Trust,
v6.102). However, I installed SA (non-beta release) prior to this, and
there was no Active-X error. Only when I installed the BETA.
Again, the reason I installed the beta was because people on teams were
not receiving emails, even though the logs show the emails going out
successfully. I have been troubleshooting that for a while and can't
figure it out - because other people with the same domain get it - just certain
users don't - so I can't see it being a mail problem either.

It must be something like that. I installed v5
alpha and v4 latest beta's already so many times without any issue (always on
tests system without AV installed however).
David, could you verify if there is an AV running on the
system?
Dirk.
David and
Dirk,
Don’t know if this
will help, but I received an Active-X error when installing the latest V5
Alpha on a machine that had 4.1 on it (W2k platform). I then disabled my
ant-virus software and did a re-install--- error disappeared. SA runs
just fine.
Happy New
Year.

Error
Just installed the latest BETA
because:
Not all parties were receiving
the emails of outages. The log showed the emails were going out, but
they weren't getting to certain people. Other people on the list, at
the same email domain were getting the messages however. As a result,
I thought I would try the latest BETA and now - still getting the ACTIVE X
error when installing. This time however, I installed in Windows 2000
Advanced Server and not Windows XP.
Will there be any fixes for this
Active x error?
