Yes this should work....but putting it to maintenance also means that it's
no longer checked!

I have tried to have it put on maint. but it is like it resets when it
comes back up, so it never goes to Maint.
I am going to try When 50 % of the last 10 cycles are down put on maint.
You think that will work?

If you really don't want to be alerted on non-continuous
downs,
just revise your alert criteria to put it into maintenance after
notification..

Is there a way to stop sending alerts after non continuous downs. For
example, we have several snmp checks that go up and down within a minute
or
two. We would like to be paged 5 times down then stop the pages. I
have
done the STOP ALERTING AFTER 5 CYCLES, but the downs are not constant
downs. Does anyone know a way to limit the pages??

Thanks
