Have you got "Send direct" selected on this tab, or are you using the same SMTP server as you were before? The error is the SMTP service refusing to pass the mail alerts - try specifying a full email address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) in the default FROM: on this tab. Also, when testing with the test button, make sure you push Apply after each change, before testing it.
