I've got an interesting situation where an item I'm monitoring with Servers Alive 4.1 always reports a down situation, when it is in fact up.

I am monitoring the IBM Tivoli TSM Client Scheduler service on a remote server.  If I connect to this server via Remote Desktop, I observe that the service is running (both in Computer Management and from the command prompt with the sc query command.  Tivoli Storage Manager behaves as expected.  Incidentally, I am also monitoring 13 other services, 3 diskspace checks, and a filecounter.  All of the other items respond as expected.

Here is what shows up in the log (with maximum logging) regarding this service:

Wednesday, July 06, 2005 12:15:51 AM GetServiceStatus TSM Client Scheduler:
Wednesday, July 06, 2005 12:15:51 AM NTService check of TSM Client Scheduler on 192.168.200.3 failed

I've gone in and reviewed the Check tab, and I clicked the ". . ." button to both ensure that it can authenticate, and that I am choosing the service correctly.

Any help that anyone can provide would be most appreciated.

Thanks!
