The "extra field should contain" is to filter out different types of "downs", filtering based on the real content of the extra field. Typical example would be an HTTP check were you get a 404 error or a 500 error and depending on the number (404 or 500) you want to have a different alert. It will not work for what you are doing as the extra field doesn't contain the words you're looking for.
In the current version it's not possible to differ between a minor and major alert except by creating 2 check entries.
