Title: File Save Message

The way I get around this it to always start the service when no one is logged in. Right click on “My Computer” and choose “Manage”. Right click on “Computer Management (Local)” and choose Connect to another computer. Choose or type in the name of the computer running ServersAlive then drill down to Services. Choose ServersAlive service and either start it or restart it so it is running as a service like it needs to. This makes it so it is not associated with a logged in user.

I reinstalled the latest version of 5.1 and we are still getting pop-ups.

---------------------------
Servers Alive?
---------------------------
Do you want to save the changes you made to d:\localapps\salive\sa055cfg.txt?
---------------------------
Yes   No

Sometimes when we logon there is an additional pop-up that says something like "Servers Alive can not exit".

I am assuming it came right after the last logout, because SA quit running until I logged back in.  It then took off right from the spot where it had stopped.  It seems like it can't make up its mind whether it is running as service or an application.  It is definitely running as a service.  I am not launching the application.

We call up the application via the tray icon.  We get the pop-up messages even if we never look at SA.

We have been using TS with /console.  It also pops up a message on the real console.

SA is running as a service. There is a checkbox at Setup ==> General ==> Misc for "automatically save changes on exit".  The checkbox is not checked.

SA running as service?

Is the "automatically save changes on exit" option enabled?

Every time I log on or logoff the server, I get a pop-up asking if I want to save the SA configuration file.

Is this normal behavior?
