RE: [SA-list] SNMP checks - limited to 2 values per entry? Well, I beleive that the SNMP script available inside SA only modifies the Extra Info field AFTER the check has been determined to be up or down.

Couldn't you also feed the SNMP value into a custom vb script, and then fire the alert based upon what value the script spits out. Inside the script, you parse what got returned and decide if it's worth alerting on. You could build a cascade of checks with the alert on the bottom. Michael D. Hello, We're currently using version 6.0.2056. Is there any way to do an SNMP check so that it can compare more than 2 values in one single check? (ie Controller battery 1 -OK, 9- High, 12 - Charging, 36 -Learning) We don't want to generate any alert if it has any of these values.
