And that is with the configured account for the check? And the result you get is an ACCESS DENIED? Then it means that although the user is able to remotely authenticated, that the user doesn't have enough rights to get the requested info. (at least that's what the OS is "saying").

I have configured them to authenticate before checking and have double checked the credentials and the checks still fail.
