Using a TCP protocol you can create :-)
In the main interface do CTRL-P
Create a NEW TCP Based check:
Port: 3128 (or whatever port your proxy is using)
Packet to send on connect
GET http://www.somedomain.com/
HTTP/1.0\x0D\x0AHost:www.somedomain.com\x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A
Packet to receive as response
HTTP/1.0 200 OK
(x) contains
In SA create an entry for each proxy server and as hostname give the name (or
ip) of the proxy server, as check select the created TCP check.
Only "problem" is that if www.somedomain.com is down that all the proxy checks
will fail.

Subject: [SA-list] the best way to monitor proxy servers?
Hello Servers,
I have 6 proxy servers that need to be monitored.
What is a best way to check availability?
I tried to setup simple URL check with proxy enabled, but there are
only 2 proxy settings available in setup setting.
Any idea?
