If you're talking about erorrlevel then you're refering to an External check (based on errorlevel). Most of the time this is done via some kind of script or BAT file. Within that script or BAT file you will have to authenticate towards the remote system, not within SA itself.

I thought about having SA send a "find" command and testing errorlevel, but I don't see where I can enter credentials for the remote server.
