Hello everyone,
Is it possible to use the output from archive_audit command to position the tape to the beginning of a certain tar file without SAM-FS Software? For example say we wanted to restore file L_1082_77B_12_1.0406287.dpx as in the archive_audit output below without SAMFS: "li A00350 ---- 1 0 32641f.9d918a 8298496 /global/qfs/original/1082/L_1082_77B_12_1/scans/L_1082_77B_12_1/1920x1080/L_1082_77B_12_1.0406287.dpx 0" All I have is the position "32641f" for the tar file. Is this information in any way usable outside of SAM-FS? Say for input to 'mt' for example? The only other way would be to reread the complete Tape to extract this single file since I can't even tell which tarfile on the tape it is on.
