Apart from beeing used in a SAM Drive and SDI (external Sam Disk Interface)
they are also used in a Atari ST, Plus D and Disciple so there are plenty in
and you
may want to look out for these too.
I remember that In the Early sam days I had to pay around 72 guilders(~32
Euros)
for one and where not always easy to get.

One other thing you must know if you are planning to build the lot into the
SAM
is that the disk drive you are going to use must be a low power 5V only one.
Because the SAMs powersupply is not that powerful especially the 12V supply.
Also when opening a SAM you should now that the keyboard membrame leads are
very short and the metal plate underneath the keyboard has sharp edges that
might
cause damage to the leads if not handled properly.
