Oh, by the way... when formatting a disk, you may prefer to boot DOS on
the SAM and use the "FORMAT" command. Obviously that's not really an
option to you when you don't have a disk containing DOS...

If you copy DOS to the newly formatted disk before writing anything else
to the disk, you can boot off that disk, too.

Also, you can access a real floppy disk directly from SimCoupe, using
/dev/fd0, but the interface to this is a bit awkward.

Yeah, it really does seem like the best option.

It seems that David has this covered! :-)

That would be a great help. There are quite a few manuals on NVG
(ftp://ftp.nvg.ntnu.no/pub/sam-coupe/, but I'm guessing you know that),
so it's probably not worth duplicating them... but there's a lot of
introductory documentation that would be useful.

Have fun! -- but feel free to ask the list if you've any questions.

That's reminded me... I would very much like to know how to produce
phasing sounds with E-Tracker. Could someone upload a module
demonstrating this, or explain how to achieve the sound, please?

Thanks,
