You can get Wikipedia on DVD... are you saying that this violates the data protection act? I'm not talking about backups of any personal information -- just the articles. There are a lot of subscribers to this list, although most seem to lurk, but judging from the list, perhaps we could have at least 20 trusted users? I'd have preferred it if getting rights to edit could be a relatively informal process, especially for existing list members. Surely more than a few people will want editing access... so where are you planning to draw the line?
