I found that SAM BASIC behaved like you were holding Enter if you didn't release it very quickly. Another program (can't remember which) enabled a diagnostic border effect if you help F9 during loading, which was also triggered very easily. Rather than turn it into an optional feature, I'll try to think of a better work-around... :-) Si
