BIG compliments (and also THANK YOU) for the http://worldofsam.org page! It's the second one I am checking at work (right after http://www.raww.org, ZX news site:) and for me (as one with no past on Sam) it's a great source of informations! I can't provide much of support for the content (yet!:), but I am at least voting and as I see, Sam was not really a "desert" from the beginning as it was told to me by lot of people. I moved to a new flat. It's lot of things to do there (it was not used for over a year), but already have TV and my Coupe there. I already started to play with E-Tracker, just last thing to go is to know, how to change the speed. Right, I have no manual, I found nothing around the ftp.nvg.unit.no. But for now is really enough if anyone can provide me an info how to change speed of playing the song. About the music at all. I was really impressed by the sound of the title music in the Fred69. A bit of Pokey (Atari sound chip) and a lot of SID! Most of the musics are just like the AY on the Spectrum, but it's obvious that the Sam have a big sound possibilities (very good music is also title one in Fred 67 and some musics on FRED 64). I wisited a JHCon - small ZX meeting last December. I've met Velesoft there and he showed me his mouse interface for the SamCoupe. I am going to get one by myself, it work with any PS/2 mouse (he used optical one:), it's 100% compatible with the original Sam mouse, it's just a bit more sensitive, so you don't need 1x1m of desk space. As the Flash! version I have is only for mouse, I really need it anyway:). Anyway, he have a homepage at http://www.velesoft.wz.cz/, just hope that he will make english version soon. FOReVER7 party is comming. This year we decided to open also competition for SamCoupe, even as I am nearly sure, that there will be no entries (I am working on my music anyway:). I was unable to post anything earlier as all my emails were cut down after about 3 lines of text. Now I hope it will work. Anyway, the homepage with rules are at http://forever.zeroteam.sk. Now I'd like to ask you for a small help. I'd like to do also a small presentation of Sam Coupe on the party itself. Just a short speach about the computer and show also some games/demos/programs on the big screen. Now as a one who still don't know all the good stuff for Coupe I'd like to ask you for your ideas what should be shown, some tips about good software. Exactly by this way started Spectrum/C64/Atari on first FOReVER party, CPC last year, now it's time for the Sam Coupe. That's all for now from me.
