MultiROM-paging support is something what SAM (compared to Amstrad) really missed. Moving the DOS from disk to ROM was one of the first improvements in Atari ST line.
My tips for MultiROM (or battery packed bootable RAM, flashRAM) slots are: (B)DOS, Master Basic, Comet, Turbomon, Speccy Emulator, File manager,... MultiROM could heavily recharge a use of SAM with a turbocard. :-) Josef ______________________________________________________________ > Od: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Komu: <[email protected]> > Datum: 19.06.2006 12:15 > Předmět: Re: MULTIROM > >"Josef" wrote: >> does anybody know of MultiROM? >>http://home.earthlink.net/~simoncooke/samcoupe/infobase/source/multirom.txt >> A circuitry diagram, photos of a working prototype or any other >> software for download? > >Simon Cooke's prototype was in the early stages, he did have it at one of >the Gloucester shows in the mid-1990's.
