anyway... backups are only illegal when its specifically said that its illegal... otherwise its fine innit?... i mean, some software does say that your not allowed, but most doesnt - and none that i can remember on the Sam ever did.... having said that, disks protected with the special disk protection are kind of saying this implicitly - but it wouldnt be legally binding unless they said it explicitly... bear in mind, i know nothing. martin
