Yes - you can set up an associated application to be run when you double-click on .DSK files. The SimCoupe command-line can include the options to insert the disk and boot from it. You can also set up additional entries on the context (right-click) menu for that type, so that make it just inserts the disk without booting, etc. The only trouble is that the current versions of SimCoupe fail because Windows makes the directory containing the .DSK file the current directory, and SimCoupe will fail to find the SAM ROMs. You could probably do it with an intermediate batch file for now, but that's messier. If I can find a portable method to determine the directory SimCoupe is in I'll make sure the ROMs are always loaded from there so it'll work as you hoped. > In my mind, the emulator (and maybe the ROM) would need to be patched in > some way to accept this, but wouldn't it be good - if for example if you > could click on an image and it could bypass the SAM startup and go > straight into a game or a SAM app. It just needed an emulator change to support it, and the Win32 version already has the autoboot and fast start-up options to do that. Your subject line refers to 'Console Coupe' - if you meant the DOS version then I'm afriad it doesn't support them. If your machine is a P266 or faster you should be able to use the Win32 version in full-screen mode to give the same effect. Si
