So, I tried to compile it.
It compiles fine when I change some includes.
#ifdef WIN32
#include <io.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#else
#include <unistd.h>
#endif
Seems that unistd.h is neither needed nor supported on Win32.
Also, your K&R syntax is pretty old-fashioned.
Thanks & bye.
