You are "a bit" old-fashioned, aren't you?

K&R must went out, since there are several holes in its architecture.
Have you ever though on all aspects of C syntax, its recognition by
compilers and humans?
You better start reading ANSI documents before you say things like this.
;-)

For me there are two main disadvantages:
1. prototypes not needed --> this forced millions bugs in past 30 years
2. variable names are defined twice --> this is nonsense in general, without
need of further discussion
