I must admit, I haven't really been following the line of conversation,
but what about transferring files between Sam and Mac? Presumably there are
Sam emulators for the Mac? When I get my G4 iMac (I'm ever optimistic), I am
hoping to be able to wrench my father off his Sam with the offer of a stable
emulator, and then wean him onto a "proper" WP. I might just manage to get
him on the Mac if he can transfer his floppy files onto the HD. Thinking
about it, that would mean getting an external floppy drive.... but, in
theory, is it possible; Can I open Sam files on a Mac, and then paste the
text into Word or, even better, Quark?
