Hi Chris,

yeah, the SAM was released just a wee bit too late, which was a real shame. It
was a great machine for its time, and a lot of love went into making it. I
certainly put a lot of love into the software I produced, and I think I got
some really good results from the BASIC that SAM had, especially my "Gridlock"
game which is on Enceladus 10.

I'm still trying to get a hold of my Review diskzines. I have only managed to
obtain issue #2 so far, and I put out five issues, so here's hoping!

Thanks for your comments,

Ron :o)

Subject: Re: SAM Coupé - software request!

Hi Ron,

Many thanks for that - Wolfgang sent a link to your software - thanks
 Wolfgang!

Your game Quix is a very different beast to the arcade game Qix - in
 fact, only the name
is similar! Apparently the arcade version is pronounced "kicks" - but
 I always pronounce
it "quicks" ;-)

Your game is quite a challenge to play - in some ways it feels like a
 beefed-up Tetris! It's
pretty amazing to see what you can do in standard Sam BASIC. The SAM
 really was too
much too late... Sad really, as it really was a lovely machine to
 write code for... :-(

Cheers,
Chris.
