emulating SAM and perhaps other machines...
My only concern is the sound hardware on the board. I think the chipset
supports audio decoding for output over HDMI, but it might only cover
media player type use, and is probably not seen as a sound card. Anyone
know any more?
It should still be possible to add a USB sound device, at the cost of
one USB port. Hopefully not too much extra latency either.
Hope its possible without... I'm really interested in the possibily of
this being a nice little emulation ssytem :)
what sort of speed when compared to the real machine?
I'd hope it could run at full speed, given it could (just) manage it on
the ARMv5 (well, XScale) chip in my 10 year old Pocket PC device!
Perhaps it's possible to emulate a simulated accelerated SAM then :)
