Every once in a while my samba server logs complain that a user's primary group is not a windows group, but there is no indication of what it is or how to change it. On redhat machines, by default each user's primary unix group is a group with the same name as the user. Should these all be changed to something else?
Does your environment run with (primary group != windows group)?
