I did a lot of searching and found a bunch of postings with this problem but no solutions. After trying a lot of different stuff I figured it out. The sambaHomePath was for the problematic users was set to \\MYPDC\home\username but there was no share. smbldap was set to automatically inject a sambaHomePath, so I had to edit the smbldap.conf to change this and now everything is working great. I hope this will save others the headaches I went through.

Very strange on my desktop(win2k) I don't get this problem but on other workstations both win2k and winxp I get this. After logging on to the Domain a windows labelled 'Sas Window: winlogon.exe - Application Error' pops up with the following message:
The instruction at "0x00650076" referenced memory at "0x00650076"
The memory could no be "read"

I searched the archives and saw some stuff about SID's but I didn't understand what they were talking about. BTW I'm running Samba 3.0.11. Any help would be appreciated.
