Can you access the admin pages? Have you bought the Pro version? All services can be turned on via the admin pages and in most cases a restart is required.
Find the config.ini then look for these entries and set to true. Restart sambar. The mail server requires considerable setup and unless you really understand what you are doing be very careful or you will end up being a spam relay. I also see you are on a sympatico account. They might have ports blocked if it is a residential account.
