Follow up, from Tod:

I spent all last night on this without much luck so far.
I can definitely confirm that there is a problem with my
use of OpenSSL and Netscape 6.1 -- on Windows 95 and 98, the
entire server hangs until a reboot. On Windows NT/2000
the single thread hangs until the client disconnects but the
server appears to continue functioning. I am working on this
bug through the weekend and hope to get a fix out soon.
