Dear Sir/Madam,
Recently, when i installed the samtools-1.2 on redhat 6.6 system, i got the
following problem:

sample.o cut_target.o phase.o bam2depth.o padding.o bedcov.o bamshuf.o faidx.o
stats.o stats_isize.o bam_flags.o bam_split.o bam_tview.o bam_tview_curses.o
bam_tview_html.o bam_lpileup.o libbam.a htslib-1.2.1/libhts.a -lcurses -lm -lz
bedidx.o: In function `bed_read':
bedidx.c:(.text+0x1650): undefined reference to `gzopen64'
phase.o: In function `main_phase':
phase.c:(.text+0x289f): undefined reference to `gzopen64'
bedcov.o: In function `main_bedcov':
bedcov.c:(.text+0x1e0): undefined reference to `gzopen64'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [samtools] Error 1
I have installed the zlib-1.2.8, and other pre-requirments all are right. I had
searched many informations abouts the problem from the internet, but the
problem still coudn't be solved.
Can some people want to help me with pleasure, and I will very appreciate!
