I have a working linux command line utility that controls a scanner and all functions.
I was wondering if anyone has made a "generic" backend for custom commands to control a scanner. the idea is to execute the command line utility with the options for the scan. for instance to scan using the executable utility called "myscanner" at 600 DPI, in color might execute from command line: myscanner 600 color of course other resolutions etc would change the options in the command.
