Can someone please confirm or provide some clarification if the HP
ScanJet 4850C is supported or unsupported?
This link says it has "Good" support:

This link says it's not supported:
http://www.sane-project.org/unsupported/hp-scanjet-4850.html
I searched online and user reports are inconclusive too and lean toward
"unsupported".
I have an opportunity to get this scanner for free and I'm trying to
decide whether it's worth the time and effort.
